We’re currently working with a property owner who got a wonderful job offer a few years ago that, unfortunately, was out of state. He needed to sell his house, but there was an issue: He owed $10,000 more than what the house was worth.
Instead of bringing $10,000 to the closing table in order to sell that house, we decided to turn this burden into a blessing by offering him our property management services. Over the past few years, we’ve been managing this property; we acquired enough rent to cover his monthly expenses and put enough money into his account to cover his mortgage, taxes, insurance, repairs, etc.
Now, this owner will finally be able to sell his house in a couple of weeks, and he’ll walk away from the closing table with cash in hand.
